Martin’s consulting practice is
built around the complementary areas of: program and organizational
evaluation, designing and implementing performance measurement systems
and project management of major organizational initiatives. Martin
has led a wide variety of projects and evaluations for public sector
clients that included client and stakeholder consultations.
Martin is a graduate of the
University of Waterloo and York University. He holds a B.A.Sc., MBA,
the Certified Management Consultant (CMC) designation and has received
additional training at the Harvard Business School in Corporate
Planning and Control.
He is a
member of the: Canadian Association of Management Consultants, Financial Management Institute of Canada, Canadian Evaluation
Society, Institute of Public Administration of Canada (IPAC) and
is a Registered Professional Engineer in Ontario.

Cairncross CMC, P.Eng.

Mr.
Cairncross is the President of James Cairncross & Associates Inc., an
independent consulting firm formed in 1988. Jim provides consulting
services as an Associate of the RMI Group.
Jim has extensive experience conducting evaluations and
assessments in a broad range of organizations. The scope of Jim's
professional practice includes evaluating management systems and
processes in departments, ministries, Crown-owned corporations, and
agencies at provincial and federal government levels. Jim is a
certified management consultant (CMC).
Jim is a graduate of
the University of Western Ontario. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering
Science (B.E.Sc.) degree and an MBA from the Ivey School of Business.
He is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) and has received
additional business training at the Harvard Business School.
He is a member of
the Canadian Association of Management Consultants, the Canadian
Comprehensive Auditing Foundation (CCAF),
is
on the Ontario Board of Directors of the Canadian Evaluation Society,
is a
Registered Professional Engineer in Ontario, and is an active member
of the Project Management Institute.
